TLG*TRVLADV: Traveler's Advantage/Shopper's Advantage is a company that gives people discounts on travel. They usually offer $1/month trial and then charge the full amount the months afterwards.

They took $102 from me! Turns out there's Traveler's Advantage and Shopper's Advantage, but you must cancel BOTH separately. I only canceled one (Traveler's Advantage) so I was charged 6 months of $16.99 for Shopper's Advantage.

I called 1(800)548-1116 and kindly asked to talk to their supervisor. I spoke with Laura Neff and she assured me that I would get a full refund.

I suggest calling them to see what you can do. (I still have not received the refund, however)

I had incurred a $16.99 charge each month for over a year with this and with the "Great Fun" scammers as well! (Same company!!) I called my credit card company. The credit card rep called them up in a conference call and helped me. She had experience with this same "scam" before.

The first scam rep was able to cancel both memberships and offered me another trial for a $1! The nerve!! I asked about a refund, and she offered one month. I pushed for the entire year saying that I had called right after the "trial period". She offered 4 months of refunding and said that was the best she could do. I said I'd take it, and how would I get the remaining 8 months refunded. She passed me to her supervisor who arranged for a 12-month refund for BOTH accounts (Travel Advantage, and Great Fun) After the scam guy hung up the credit card rep said that she was very surprised and thanked me for the experience! So call your Credit Card Company!!
