I received a Vanilla gift card for my birthday, in December 2021, in the amount of $50.00. When I finally activated my card and attempted to use in in December 2022, unknown person had used the number to purchase from RALPS, in the amount of $47.50 on 12/10/2021, almost two weeks before I had physical possession of the card. On line shows the card activated on 12/08/21, probably the date of purchase, but I could not use it until I activated via phone call on 12/28/2002
