EBAYCOMMERCE SAN JOSE 12/16 H92845 ? I Have charge on my card for ebay commerce purchase that I didn't make.

On Monday, I tried to make a purchase on eBay for the item HSPO-013 Kirchhoff-Bunsen spectroscope for teaching, for which I opened an account on eBay, selected the indicated item, and followed the respective steps for the payment, which was $153.64 USD, which I made with a credit card. However, the platform rejected the payment. Nevertheless, I received on my cell phone from the issuing bank that "at 6:30 PM on 08/17/2026 a charge was made with your card ***** for $153.64 on eBay O04-15056-86548 SAN JOSE."

Why has the payment been processed if the platform rejected this payment?
