I called to check a hotel rate and they insisted on booking and billing it when I was clearly just calling for a rate.
Hotel initially claimed I stayed there. Then they made up story of no show.
Hours on phone with them and credit card company were fruitless.
Apparently Mariott licenses their name to independent hotels who do this scandal.
