CK DEALER # 01467 SAN BERNARDINCA

I received this change and I have not been to a circle K at all. I’m hearing this is fraud and had my card canceled completely. I’m sure the $1 is either the first trasaction to see if the can then hit or if they hit 100,000 people for a dollar that’s $100,000 dollars. Who’s going to raise a major fuss over $1? Now a lady from a company looked it up for me and said this is a scam for CK Dealer Changes to your card. I didn’t find it I’m still looking. That’s how I found this. Now I have to go through the new card process!

If CK Dealer appears on your bank statement, it simply means Circle K Dealer. Not all Circle K locations will come up as Circle K on your bank statement. If you have made purchases from Circle K, Kangaroo Express, or On the Run stores you might see "KangarooExp," "Circle K," "On the Run," or even"CK Dealer" (CK Dealer are usually your franchised or dealer stores for Circle K). Even if the store you made purchases are not branded with Circle K, they could be independent but still be Circle K Dealer stores. For example: I own a FAST LANE gas station in Jackson Mississippi and any purchases from our store show up as CK Dealer on your statement. Fast Lane is a trademark owned by Circle K and they control our gas. So CK Dealer are dealer or franchise locations by Circle K regardless if the store operates as Circle K or not.

Hey NJ! The same thing just happened to me. My bank contacted me, blocked the card and identified "CK DEALER #01467" as the location where a suspect attempted to charge $1. This is a common attempt for someone to see if they are able to use the card, and if so - the thefts really begin. I called the Circle K in Highland, Ca where the fraud was attempted and left a message for the manager to pull video. I should hear from them on Monday, 7-11-17. I am retired sheriff's sergeant and my husband is a retired lieutenant in the same county where this occurred. I don't have a lot do these days, so chasing down another crook sounds like a good use of my time! I just hope I can be present when he/her is handcuffed! After I initiate a criminal report, I will post a phone number, report number and detective's name so that other victims can join me in prosecuting this suspect! NJ, I'm very glad your bank caught it.

This is what I received from my bank with the charge.

CK dealer is certainly fraud. I went thru Rock Hill, SC and stopped at a Sake Japan-which is owned by Yingkai Ma. There were 5 attempts on my card. $0.01 that fell off then 3 pending for $1 that went thru at $1.15, $43, then $100! Then they tried again the next day but my card was turned off. CC co said that transaction was done in Sumter, SC. Don’t hand people your credit card to run them. Make sure you can do it yourself. This is annoying.

I live in NJ, used my credit card for gas beginning of August. The transaction posted and 2 weeks later, I am being charged from CK Dealer. My credit card company declined the transaction and placed a hold on my card. I havent used my card in over a week. My card is now closed. Be Careful! Always check your statements and set up alerts to recieve text messages. I am so glad, my bank caught it and notified me right away!
