charge on debit card of 120.00 from new hampshire i live in iowa

Brookstone 203 charged $792.63 to my ATM Check card. have never bought anything from them. I called Brookstone customer service and was told they couldn't give me any information about the purchase. I would think if I paid for something I should at the very least be told what the item was. She simply said for me to dispute the charge with my bank. i understand that most businesses will occasionally get a customer complaint about being charged for something they didn't purchase. Usually it's a result of stolen credit card, etc. But Brookstone has a HUGE number of these complaints. You would think that they would identify and correct the problem. It starts to look like it is Brookstone themselves who is committing the fraud themselves

I had the same experience as those above--on 1-21, charges for over $100 appeared on my credit card for Brookstone 203. I contacted the credit card company for more info, as I'd never heard of "Brookstone" and was pretty sure I hadn't made any large purchases over the weekend. The company told me that the charge was an online purchase from Brookstone. I visited the website and it is completely unfamiliar to me, so I am disputing the charge and cancelling the card. Looks like I'm not alone in my experience w/this "company."

On May 23rd my bank acct was charged 169.42. I called customer service and was told they couldn't do anything about it. I also ask could they tell me where the merchandise was sent. I live in Texas didn't even know of a Brookstone. I'm still trying to get my money back.

My credit card was charged $2200 from Brookstone 203. If not for my credit card company notifying me I would of never known until my statement arrived in a couple weeks. Hopefully the response one day later will keep the thieves from getting the stolen stuff. Brookstone needs to get their act together with this much fraud reported for years.

Just got a fraud alert email from my creditor about a purchase made today at this Brookstone 203 online purchase for $136.91. I havent bought anything today nevermind gone out!! Damn sure didnt order anything online as well. My state (Massachusetts) borders New Hampshire but i have never heard of this store or where it is. My creditor couldnt say where in NH just that it was an online purchase. Needless to say I hadnt used that card for over a year. I guess someone else decided to use it since I wasnt.. Unblievable!! Im just glad my creditor caught it

On phone with my bank's fraud dept due to an unknown charge of $138.88 on March 20th, 2017 Brookstone NH. Bank states that card was not present and manually entered. I have never shopped at a Brookstone or in the state of NH.
